Originally born in Rutland, Vermont moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1967. Graduated from Clearwater High School in Clearwater, Florida. I am a military child of career Air Force officer and family. My father was a WWII veteran and my mother is a retired real estate agent in Vermont and Florida now residing in Clearwater, Florida. They were both born and raised in the Rutland, Vermont area. I have two siblings residing in Clearwater and Dunedin, Florida. I am married to a Georgia Tech graduate (1966) and retired fighter pilot, James (Jim) Applegate. Jim and I have two adult married children living in Atlanta and 3 beautiful grandchildren!
